Coming Home to the Golden Triangle
Walk through the city and you might feel lost in a sea of franchises, from fast-food joints to clothing and electronic stores.
But stroll a few blocks south of downtown and you enter the Golden Triangle, a neighborhood of unique shops, art galleries and small eateries you might not find anywhere else in Denver.
Bordered by Colfax Avenue, Speer Boulevard and Lincoln Street, the Golden Triangle became an emerging business support area for downtown Denver following World War II. It was transformed from Victorian-era homes to an area of shops, for-sale condominiums and a thriving cultural center.
Michele Mosko Fine Art exhibits prints by international artists John Baldessari, Louise Bourgeois, Enrique Chagoya, Christo, Helen Frankenthaler, Howard Hodgkin, Jasper Johns, Alex Katz, Sol LeWitt, Robert Motherwell, Wayne Thiebaud, Betty Woodman, Huang Yan, and others. Featuring photography by Jill Greenberg, Bob Kolbrener, and Amalie R. Rothschild.
