Sharon Feder
Feder’s paintings are animated by a tension between subtle spiritual influences that inform her vision and the materiality exposed in medium and subject matter. Passionately devoted to painting since childhood, Feder studied under masters including: Colorado artists Ed Marecak, Mark Zamantakis and Robert Froese; University of Washington artists Norman Lundin, Michael Spafford and Patty Warashina. Feder is a consummate colorist whose work has evolved from decades of technical experience as a set designer, muralist, sign painter and studio artist. Her commissions include murals and paintings for dozens of private and public collections both nationally and internationally.
